Xiaomi Redmi X
The Redmi X is all set to start on May 14, a leaked submitted on Weibo suggests. It must be noted that the Redmi X will currently launch in China and afterwards come to other niches. The question today is, will Redmi X return to India?
Well, as of now there are no reports on the India launch of the Redmi X. This is highly probably because Xiaomi asserts that the Redmi X is going to be the least expensive Snapdragon 855 chipset phone started so far. Poco follows the same strategy.
Redmi X Specification & Features
Last year, Poco F1 was launched as the cheapest Snapdragon 845 chipset phone. The rumoured Poco F2 will follow the same strategy. It’s safe to suppose that the Poco F2 will be the least expensive Snapdragon 855 telephone in India.
Take this advice with a pinch of salt because the company is yet to affirm the Poco F2.
The Redmi X will be the cheapest Snapdragon 855 phone launched up to now. Rumours suggest that the Redmi X will include pop-up selfie camera to the rear panel, while on the back panel the telephone is expected to bring triple cameras.
The presence of the pop-up selfie camera means there will be no notch on the telephone. Meanwhile, a newly leaked poster of the Redmi X show there will not be a rear-mounted fingerprint detector. This hints at in-display fingerprint detector.
Some reports indicate that the Redmi X will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack and may come with wireless charging assistance.
All the official specs and features of the Redmi X is going to probably be announced at the official launch event of the phone on May 14.
With the Redmi X Xiaomi clearly wants to take on the likes of Realme X that’s also expected to launch in China this month along with a rebranded version of this Realme 3 Pro. In China, the Realme 3 Pro will launch as Realme X Lite, at least that’s what the rumours indicate.
So, will Redmi X have the ability to contend with the Realme X? Well, that we are able to say after the telephones go official, but right now the Redmi X seems pretty powerful.
