Xiaomi’s latest User Interface MIUI 10 allows users to remove the annoying ads. Here’s how to do that on your Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi note 7.

Xiaomi is known to produce smartphones that make one of the very best price-to-performance ratios. But lately, the business has been accused of providing too many advertisements throughout its custom user interface, MIUI.

Here’s how you can disable them to get better consumer experience.

Before We start the topics, we will need to understand that why Xiaomi enables ads on their MIUI. In simple terms, Xiaomi and its sub-brands sell smartphones at a very aggressive price point and so as to make up for the low-profit-margin on hardware, then they market their applications to create income which goes to R&D, advertising and more.

The Ads are everywhere in MIUI so the elimination process isn’t likely to be a one-click process. The user will have to disable ads from multiple segments of this UI.

How to Get Rid of system ads from MIUI

  • Open Settings > Added settings.
  • Disable Personalized advertisement recommendation
  • This Process gets rid of system-level advertisements and monitoring.
  • Disable advertising identifier
  • Advertising identifier attribute are found in Settings > Additional Settings > Privacy > User Experience Program.
  • As the name implies, disabling this will prevent sending information to Xiaomi for customised advertising.

Revoking MSA apps authorization

First, You’ll Need to go to the Settings of your Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone and browse to Additional Settings > Authorization and Revocation. Here, you will need to choose MSA (MIUI System Ads) from the list and hit revoke.

This usually requires multiple efforts but once done, it will remove advertisements throughout the system. But if that just simply refuses to work for you, disable advertisements on each program manually.
