At its Next@Acer annual hardware event, Acer has introduced a new brand named ConceptD, which will cater to graphic designers, filmmakers, engineers, architects, developers and other creators.

This includes a new line of high-end desktops, laptops and monitors — all constructed with a new design language for quieter workflows as well as factory-calibrated screens for professional usage.

“The ConceptD product portfolio has been conceived to give creators the resources to concentrate on the creative process and make amazing things,” explained Jerry Kao, Co-COO, Acer.

ConceptD 900 and ConceptD 500 desktops specification, availability and pricing

The ConceptD 900 and 500 high-end desktops feature a variety of Nvidia GPUs around a Quadro RTX 6000 geared toward enabling high-end visual effects rendering, complicated 3D modelling, simulations, as well as AI and profound learning development.

ConceptD 9, 7, 5 laptops specification, pricing, and accessibility

The ConceptD 9 notebook features a display on a rotating hinge, much like this Acer Triton 900 gaming laptop. This permits the 17.3-inch UHD display to reverse over, allowing different use modes. Like display, ezel, stand and notebook.

Finally, the ConceptD 5 is an even thinner and lighter professional notebook featuring 16.9mm in depth and weighs approximately 1.5kg. The ConceptD CP7271K is a Pantone-validated 27-inch monitor optimized for 3D creators. It features a color precision of Delta-E <1, a wide colour gamut of 99% of the AdobeRGB colour space, and 93 percent DCI-P3 color space.

It also features G-SYNC Ultimate and DisplayHDR 1000 for professional-grade colour and picture detail. It’s priced at $1,999 (approximately Rs. 1,39,100) and will be available in the US striating July.

Acer also unveiled the ConceptD OJO Windows Mixed-Reality headset, featuring a 4,320 x 2,160 display, detachable and swappable headset layout, inter-pupil distance modification, along with a classic white finish. Acer hasn’t shown the pricing of this yet.
